Overview James Chevrolet is seeking a skilled Auto Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Johnstown, New York. As an Auto Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, including cars and trucks. You will work closely with our customers to ensure their vehicles are safe and in optimal working condition. Responsibilities Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports. Perform diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment. Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete repairs within specified time frames. Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Technician/Mechanic. Strong knowledge of automotive tools, equipment, and systems. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
