Our firm is currently seeking a self-motivated, dedicated Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to be involved in a wide range of civil engineering projects. Our projects typically involve land development, water resources, and design tasks, making use of Civil 3D software.

Responsibilities:

As an Entry-Level Civil Engineer, you will be expected to:

1. Participate in the design and execution of civil engineering project plans and specifications.
2. Contribute to land development projects, including site planning, roadway layout, grading design, and utility design.
3. Assist in the design and management of water resource projects, including stormwater management, drainage design, and erosion control.
4. Utilize Civil 3D software for design tasks and project documentation.
5. Collaborate with project managers, design staff, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Conduct site inspections and analyses.
7. Prepare engineering reports and technical studies.
8. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, and local and national codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role should have:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the civil engineering field, with a focus on land development, water resources, and design.
3. Proficiency in using Civil 3D software for design and documentation tasks.
4. Excellent technical skills, including a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
5. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts and ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
7. A strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
8. A professional engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a given timeframe.
