We are looking for a Sensei (Coding Tutor/Instructor) to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward‑thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Sensei is the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. Responsibilities include: Learn and teach Code Ninjas’ game curriculum Work with children (aka Ninjas) on their belt curriculum Create a positive, safe, and fun environment in which students can grow Assist with Day Camps, Parent Night Outs, Birthday Parties, and Summer Camps Develop/modify STEM activities to support belt and camp curriculum Follow opening/closing and cleaning duties daily Qualifications: Experience working with children ages 7 and up (1 year – Required) Computer programming experience (1 year – Required) Enthusiastic about working with kids; mentoring and teaching Patient, kind, and understanding Works well with others; collaborates and takes pride in their work Upbeat and fun individual with a passion for technology and learning Knowledgeable about coding and technology Some experience in Robotics, Minecraft, or Roblox Ideal for High School Juniors/Seniors and College students Who are we? Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 7‑14 learn to code in a fun, non‑intimidating way – by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem‑solving, as they progress from white to black belt. Job Type : Part‑time Pay : $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Experience : Teaching/Tutoring: 1 year (Required) Programming: 1 year (Required) Work Remotely No, In person only Expected hours : 3 – 12 per week Schedule Monday - Friday Education High school or equivalent (Preferred) Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
