Job Description

Our client, a leading technology company that designs and manufactures advanced MLP film capacitors, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Location: Lynchburg, VA

Pay Range: $21 - $25 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Oversee the performance and maintenance of production and facility machinery
• Perform equipment repairs, troubleshooting, upgrades, and installations
• Support manufacturing processes through preventative maintenance and process improvements
• Interface with operations and engineering teams to maintain production efficiency and product quality
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory management

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED with 3-5 years of machine maintenance experience, or an Associate degree in engineering with 1-2 years of related experience
• Proficiency in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and facilities
• Knowledge of mechanical devices such as motors, pumps, and pneumatic valves
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work on equipment at floor level
