Overview Senior Technical Recruiter | 15 Years Connecting Top Talent with Top Opportunities Role: IT Manager Type: 3 to 6 Month Contract (Possible Conversion) Base pay range: $105,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the daily operations of the IT team, ensuring all systems run efficiently and effectively. This role involves supervising and mentoring IT staff, setting priorities and performance standards, and assigning tasks to ensure timely and quality delivery of IT services. The IT Manager will also collaborate with vendors to evaluate and negotiate pricing, service levels, and support agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills to support a dynamic, mission-driven organization. Key Responsibilities Supervise, mentor, and manage the IT team, ensuring proper task assignment, priority setting, and performance management. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly, minimizing disruption to business operations. Collaborate with vendors to evaluate, select, and negotiate hardware, software, and service agreements, ensuring optimal pricing and SLA compliance. Oversee network infrastructure, hardware, software, and telecommunications systems. Manage IT projects including planning, organization, prioritization, and execution to meet deadlines and deliverables. Ensure adherence to applicable data privacy standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and exhibit professionalism when engaging with staff, contractors, and external partners. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with various departments and end-users. Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams and IT projects. Expert-level proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook. Strong technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards. Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, prioritization, and time management. Ability to engage professionally with diverse populations and stakeholders. Commitment to the organization's mission and values, including service excellence and social justice principles. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in database management, accounting, or related applications. Advanced knowledge of database reporting, including SQL, Crystal Reports, and MS Office Suite. Experience administering SQL-based databases is strongly preferred. Experience managing computer hardware and telecommunications functions is preferred. Microsoft certifications are a plus.
