This is a full-time, hourly position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position is located in Enterprise, FL. Suitable by character and personal habits to work around children who reside in the group care program and to role model behavior consistent with agency mission, vision and core values. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with co-workers in whatever task is required and accept supervision. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of work skill and maintenance skills required for the general upkeep of buildings. Ability to maintain sensitivity to our target population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages and responds to all requests for auto mechanic support. Maintains a safe, clean, organized work environment for self, coworkers, residents and visitors. Coordinate, locate, account for, maintain, protect and secure the furniture, fixtures, equipment, supplies and inventory. Work closely with the Director, Facilities to achieve completion of work orders and assignments which are assigned to the department. Maintain and operate all tools and equipment that are assigned to the care of or for use by in performance of assigned responsibilities. Maintain proper safety requirements as outlined by OSHA and other standards of safety.
