Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based | Part-Time)

Location: Camden, NJ 08103
Compensation: $80 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | 1 Day per Week | 7.5 Hours per Day

We’re looking for a compassionate and dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students reach their full potential through effective, individualized therapy.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist , you’ll play a key role in helping students strengthen their communication skills and build confidence in and out of the classroom. Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff, you’ll design and deliver effective interventions aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) — ensuring every child has the tools to succeed.

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy in accordance with students’ IEPs.

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress assessments to identify needs and track growth.

• Collaborate with general and special education teachers to integrate therapy strategies into daily learning.

• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert insights and recommendations.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant records and documentation.

• Communicate regularly with families to support student progress and promote continued development at home.

• Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology and school-based interventions.

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).

• New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) Certificate required.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.

• Current Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances .

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
