Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Following the standards of practice, provides transport for patients, equipment, supplies, and other miscellaneous materials. Performs duties aimed to enhance, the comfort and safety of our patients.

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently:

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Minimum: High school diploma or GED.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Minimum: Current CPR certification.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum: Ability to utilize email, cell phones, and pagers.

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Preferred: One year or longer transporting patients by gurney, wheelchair or equivalent hands on experience obtained in hospital's set up patient care.
