Job Description

Proposal Writer Transform client requests-including bids, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Information (RFIs)-into compelling, accurate, and successful responses. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance and meet deadlines in an organized, strategic manner. Responsibilities: Lead the proposal process and oversee the entire lifecycle of proposal development, from planning to submission. Work with Project Managers and Leads to establish schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Write, proofread, and edit responses to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with client needs. Analyze client requirements and tailor proposals to showcase the company's value. Partner with the legal team to identify potential contract and compliance issues. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timeliness. Qualifications: Strong collaboration and communication skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal writing (experience in the criminal justice sector is a plus) Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities High level of integrity, initiative, and a results-driven work ethic Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Communications, or a related field Legacy Recruiting Inc
