In this role, you will be responsible for developing system-level architectures and integrating RF subsystems with a strong emphasis on communications systems. You will play a key role in full system modeling—from free space propagation to digitizer performance—ensuring that our solutions meet customer requirements and industry standards. If you are passionate about RF system design and eager to contribute to the development of next-generation communications systems, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities

  • System-Level Architecture & Modeling:
    • Develop and implement RF system-level architectures for cutting-edge communications systems.
    • Perform comprehensive system modeling and simulation covering all phases, from free space propagation to digitizer integration.
    • Utilize industry-standard tools (HFSS, ADS, MATLAB, and Altium) to analyze and optimize RF performance.
  • Subsystem Integration:
    • Integrate multiple RF subsystems to create a cohesive, high-performance communications system.
    • Align the performance of various modules to ensure seamless operation across the complete system.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with key internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and customers to drive system design decisions.
    • Participate in design reviews and customer meetings to gather requirements and provide technical insights that shape the system architecture.
  • Documentation & Communication:
    • Develop detailed technical documentation and design specifications.
    • Clearly communicate design ideas, challenges, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of RF system design and communications principles.
  • Familiarity with simulation and design tools such as HFSS, ADS, MATLAB, and Altium.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US DOD clearance (requires US Citizenship).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to full system modeling from free space to digitizer.
  • Prior internship or project experience in RF or communications system design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic engineering environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Core Competencies

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with robust problem-solving capabilities.
