Job Details:

\n

• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor
\n• Must have at least 1 year of level 1 experience (may consider level 2)
\n• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations
\n• Work in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote statewide outreach clinics
\n• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
\n• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures
\n• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and documentation according to department protocols
\n• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
\n• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, disinfecting, and user maintenance of equipment
\n• Must be able to work as part of a team, multi-task, and remain calm in stressful situations
\n• Associate's degree or higher required
\n• Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program, JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program, or completed Paramedic training program
\n• AHA BLS certification required
\n• Must meet ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) eligibility requirements within 12 months of hire OR complete Paramedic training program within 12 months of hire
\n• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
