Position Overview The Chrysler Parts Counter Advisor will play a critical role in our parts department, serving as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Chrysler products, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Greet customers & Technicians in a friendly and professional manner, assisting them with their parts inquiries. Utilize the dealership’s parts catalog system to identify and provide accurate information on required parts and accessories. Assist customers & Technicians with parts orders and ensure timely processing and delivery of parts. Provide recommendations to customers on compatible parts. Maintain an organized and efficient parts counter, ensuring the inventory is well-stocked and properly labeled. Collaborate with service technicians to identify necessary parts for repairs and maintenance. Handle customer complaints and issues professionally, finding solutions to exceed customer expectations. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and warranty claims. Stay updated on Chrysler products, technologies, and industry trends to provide informed guidance to customers. Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts. Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training or certification is a plus. Previous experience in a parts counter role, preferably in a Automotive dealership or automotive environment. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Proficient computer skills, including experience with parts inventory systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
