Join Our Team! Job Overview: As a vital member of our transportation team, you will primarily be responsible for the daily transportation of logs. Your role is essential to ensure safe and efficient log transfer operations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct all required DOT pre-inspections and post-inspections daily. Operate the truck in compliance with DOT, state and city regulations, along with company guidelines. Follow electronic tracking procedures diligently. Adhere to all safety rules and protocols consistently. Tarp loads as necessary to ensure secure transportation. Demonstrate experience in adverse driving conditions, including gravel, snow, and muddy roads. Participate actively in all safety meetings and training sessions. Utilize prescribed safety equipment to perform job tasks safely. Report any unsafe acts, conditions, injuries, or incidents to your immediate supervisor or safety personnel. Work independently with minimal supervision. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years experience in CDL OTR truck driving with 129,000 GVW capable OTR equipment. Valid Idaho Class A CDL license. Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations. Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check. Physical Demands: Capable of sitting and/or standing for the duration of the shift, reaching with hands and arms, bending, squatting, kneeling, walking varying distances, and climbing stairs. Frequent repetitive use of hands for clerical duties. Visual and hearing acuity, with the ability to be aware of surroundings and respond to emergencies.
