As Housekeeping Manager, you will: Utilize your talent for overseeing projects and tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Utilize your knowledge and experience to implement preventive measures that prioritize the protection and comfort of guests, the safety and security of associates, and the protection of assets. Create an environment where motivated individuals want to join, learn, excel, and advance. Oversee a diverse team of well-trained housekeepers by modeling the way, empowering, sharing what you know, and coaching throughout the employment lifecycle. Use your practiced eye to ensure all guest and service areas are clean and turndown service is delivered. Take action to prevent loss, maintain optimal health, and promote hygiene to ensure guest comfort and associate safety. Apply your talent for juggling to plan and schedule assignments, as well as manage special requests, for an exceptional guest experience. Monitor supplies and expenses to ensure they meet or exceed budget goals. Respond to guest requests and concerns, attending to guest needs promptly. Fundamentals: A high school education or equivalent experience, along with two to three years of relevant employment experience, is required. Working knowledge of housekeeping is expected. One to two years of supervisory skills are required. You must communicate effectively with staff, management, and guests; a second language may be required. The ability to operate a two-way radio and clean and maintain general office equipment, including computers, is expected. This position requires continuous movement and standing, as well as the ability to lift to 25 pounds and push or pull up to 35 pounds.
